It's been fun, because most of the people are super nice, but the current meta game is really busted. There's people at my locals that bring decks that are worth about 800 dollars and are damn near unstoppable unless you invest similar amounts of money. Yeah this is another part of why I stopped duel links for a while, because I just highly disagree with the route all YGO seems to be taking in how the game revolves around how much you can special summon in a turn and get your board set up and protected before the opponent can react. Going off of duellogs vids, it just sounds like it's about who can play their own game first before the opponent can respond, and I personally think an ideal card game is one where both sides have to have some kind of interaction in order to win. Basically what MikeTavish said as well, about jsut comboing half your deck in a turn. --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss ... Copied to Clipboard! |
