(I don't know if FF11 has something equivalent, though).it's been super streamlined compared to the Good Old Days but even then it's still a kind of confusing mess and EXTREMELY long, with every expansion requiring a not insignificant toeing into various different activities. it's all easily soloable but it would probably take half a year to get through all of it, at the very least. i played for years and i still haven't finished some of the expansions' main stories completely! there's no forced time waits anymore (before each expansion often gave you like one token a day to do activities that you had to do a bunch of to advance in the expansion's plot; now you get like one token every 10 minutes) but holy god the game is a mess, especially for today's average gamer --- https://imgur.com/LabbRyN raytan and Kana are on opposite ends of the Awesome Spectrum. ...
