Any large series usually has a bunch of spinoffs, so I doubt many people could answer Zelda, Mario, or Pokemon for instance. I can't think of an answer for me with a series bigger than 4 games. I mean 'biggest' in terms of 'series with the most games', but answer however you wish! --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado. My first thought was Metal Gear Solid until you said not just mainline (although I never played the NES ones anyway, so whatever). I also thought of Street Fighter, but I never played Double Impact (which I could easily remedy, I guess, since I have the Anniversary Collection). Then again, there's also Street Fighter 2010, which I will never play, much less beat.
