Eight hours of sleep is a ridiculously large amount of sleep.

I really, really want to see your basis for saying this. I encourage you to cite actual scientific/medical sources, for the sake of seeming quasi-credible, but I expect your response will be just as entertaining regardless of what you can find, so don't let your lack of a substantiated argument dissuade you from trying.

"pay me more to work less!!"

Productivity has, by and large, increased over time, so that seems pretty reasonable. None of this "you're getting more work done in less time, but I'm going to keep paying you the same amount for the same number of hours and just keep the profits for myself" nonsense that's resulted in inflation vastly outstripping wage growth.
