There might be no wrestling topics here because there are whole separate (... and very toxic) boards for the stuff.

Yeah, I started using the other promotions board a while back. Actually saw a few PotDers and other people I knew there. Place moves a bit fast for my liking.

EDIT -- While I am thinking about, a reply to Zeus: While I do recall you mentioning series like Hero? I Quit That A Long Time Ago here and there, I generally have little to say about manga because most of what people read (q.v. the anime / manga topic series) is online stuff. I read 99% of my manga in print.

Unfortunately it's one of those series that probably won't ever be in print since it's a Chinese webtoon iirc (although I guess it could also be seen as a manhua, but more relevantly it's not even in print in its home country (which is why the whole series has color) so it's extremely unlikely to show up in print elsewhere). It is finally getting an anime, though.

It's also kinda funny that like every Asian series about superheroes tends to have a hero's association or something similar. I'm not sure it was also strictly done to copy (or parody) one title that got over big there or whether it just reflects how Asian cultures tend to skew towards regulation and collectivisim over individualism. It was also amusing because -- specifically in the case of Tiger & Bunny -- you had a lot of anime fans who talked about the idea being more realistic and original. They apparently didn't realize that the whole sponsored hero thing had already been done-to-death in the west, where some of the ideas were covered in just the previous decade alone with Marvel's Civil War (which also partly demonstrated why Tiger & Bunny's idea sucked, because ) and the Incredibles.
