What about our thoughts on people who use "you're" as a pronoun instead of a contraction? >_> They/them is a good indefinite pronoun when you're unsure and don't want to misgender. Asking to be ID'd as they/them seems a little silly, but if you're acknowledging somebody as non-binary I guess you'd have to either pluralize or go indefinite at which point they is practical. However, maybe they just need a new pronoun (like ney/non?) at that point. SomeUsername529 posted... An actual person I meet in real life can ask me to call them whatever they want and I'll oblige. From a practical standpoint, it wouldn't really see much use irl in the way you describe since you're not going to address somebody by a third-person pronoun, you're going to be using a second-person pronoun so it's whatever they want to use in lieu of "you" --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
