| Emeraldegg 03/26/21 5:03:42 PM #52: | Buccaneers vs Moonstars In a battle of aces, both teams gave up quite a few bases (the bucs SP walked 5 in 6 innings) but managed to carry a scoreless affair into the 5th. Then, things got...interesting. The Moonstars in the bottom of the 5th logged a 2 run-homer and another run to make it 3-0, then the Bucs came storming back and got a couple of runs to cut the deficit. They tied it up in the 7th, but the moonstars got it right back in the 7th. The Bucs would not go away though, tying it back up in the 8th. Then, disaster. The Moonstars subbed in their 2nd reliever of the game, and he promptly gave up back to back homers to the heart of the Bucs order. That would be the decider of the game. Buccaneers - 6 Moonstars - 4 --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss ... Copied to Clipboard! |
