| Emeraldegg 03/13/21 7:54:12 PM #35: | Moonstars vs Blowfish Things got off to a rough start for both teams, as both homered in the 1st inning. Then both teams had great chances they squandered to try and take the lead; the Blowfish had 2 on 1 out in the 3rd, and the Moonstars had a man on 3rd with NO outs, only to line out 3 straight batters. Then the 6th inning happened. The Moonstars were able to string together a couple of hits and bring one across...then the Blowfish went back to back homers in the bottom of the inning to make it 4-2. Then, disaster in the 8th. Absolutely poor management by the Moonstars, they left their star pitcher in after he was clearly gassed, and he promptly gave up 5 straight hits and a walk, including an in the park homerun by the Blowfish and another legit homerun, before finally getting pulled, but the damage was done. Moonstars - 2 Blowfish - 9 --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss ... Copied to Clipboard! |
