| Emeraldegg 03/12/21 5:33:58 PM #32: | Buccaneers vs Bulbasaurs The game started off poorly for the Bulbasaurs, as they gave a 2-run and solo homers in the first inning. They managed to pull it together and get one back the next inning, and mostly limit the Bucs to grounders, but they couldn't string enough hits together to really mount a comeback, despite getting some good opportunities to do so, like leadoff doubles. The Bucs SP made it nearly the whole game before getting pulled in the 8th, mostly owing to some poor plate discipline for the Saurs. Hammer Longballo is a name to look out for as he hit 2 HR for the Bucs, and while the Saurs did have some great defensive plays, especially from 1B, the final score was: Buccaneers - 5 Bulbasaurs - 2 --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss ...
