| andylt 03/02/21 10:37:05 PM #35: | See this is why the 'year of' tournaments seem more fun to look at than the retroactive ones. Seeing what people thought at the time and how they get caught up in hype that died down so hard in future years, seeing the cult hits that had yet to pop, it's great. Like does anybody talk about DKCR these days? Yet it walked to the semis, its only challenge being Heavy Rain of all things. That said, the final is still probably the same two today. Could see it going either way. I never realised how weird 2010 was outside of those two though- so many divisive games, disappointments, and great games that flew under the radar at release. --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado.
