He's basically said he'd wrestle for WWE again even if Vince or "Paul" were still in charge, if they offered him a large enough paycheck. The real problem is, the value Punk thinks he's worth and the value he's actually worth at this point are two very different numbers, and I don't see any existing company realistically being willing to offer enough to appeal to him. And I don't see him scaling back his own ego enough to come up with a more realistic number. No matter how much a very vocal segment of the fanbase still clamor for him to come back, I'm not sure a Punk return actually helps either AEW or WWE all that much right now.
