To a LOT of people, the perception is going to be that Congress can't pass a worthwhile Covid stimulus bill for months (and then wind up stuffing it with tons of extraneous and harmful bullshit when it DOES pass), but they can rush through an Impeachment vote on someone who's going to be out of office in two weeks anyway. That may not be the actual reality of things, but it's going to be how people see it. That's going to stir resentment even in people who aren't already polarized to the extreme.
