501. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe - Metropolis

This slides off me like I'm teflon. Detached, I can tell it has odd things going on, like how it takes effects that would just be used as flair in most other songs like this and elevates them to a proper instrument, the percussion is strange, and it certainly has an atmosphere. However, robot noises on their own can't hook me, and the conventional portions of the song are too basic superhero-y. I do wish I could like this more. If the genre were something less antithetical to my interests, something like this could do pretty well

501. Killing Floor - Treatments Are More Profitable Than Cures

I wish I could get into whatever type of noisecore dark IDM this is. I can't.

501. Tetrisphere - ManicDrumMix
Nominator: @Akkrillic

The main melodic loop isn't compelling enough to justify it being so much of the song. Quasi-DnB music needs to have more to grab me. I can at least respect what this is going for.

501. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Return of the Ocean King
Nominator: @WickIebee
7.49 (6.4/1)

Why did Nintendo drop the ball so hard on their DS Zelda game soundtracks? This isn't bad instrumentally, but it could've been so much better. Compositionally, fine, whatever

501. A Hat in Time - Welcome to Mafia Town (Qumu Remix)
Nominator: Collen
7.49 (6.4/1)

The original but with added obnoxiousness and cliched retraux bloops. Some parts are an improvement, much isn't

501. LittleBigPlanet 2 - Victorias Laboratory
Nominator: Akkrillic
7.49 (6.5/1)

Sounds like Castle Crashers. I'm afraid it fails to do anything to deserve my attention until the vocals come in. They turn it into to almost a ballet, which is an interesting choice that makes sense in retrospect. Too bad it takes three minutes to get there
