The song kind of feels like wasted potential. I don't really like the high synth instrument and it doesn't go the interesting places I'd expected it to. Seems like a more metal Castlevania song in the chorus Who cares?. Three minutes in it started to pick up and kept some kind of presence throughout, so it has that going for it, which is nice. Still doesn't stray far from its comfort zone to venture into the realm of music that I'd want to listen to --- Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination ...
