After watching most of DefunctLand's Jim Henson videos (as well as a lot of their other stuff lately -- which has been somewhat addicting; I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy watching videos about rollercoasters when I've never been a fan of rollercoasters), I noticed that the Happyland Murders were available on NF. I had wanted to watch it ever ever since learning it was a thing and... it was alright. However, the lack of worldbuilding really bugged me. There's never any explanation for why puppets are just living alongside humans, no real discussion as to the mechanics of how they exist, inconsistency regarding their ability to get hurt or die, why they're disliked by humans, etc.

I'd be okay with taking it as a given that they just exist if not for those inconsistent rules regarding their physiology. It just felt very incomplete. However, having watched the Happyland Murders, now I'm kinda interested in watching Bright (which didn't interest me much even before it was critically panned) simply because it shares part of the premise.
