Zeus 01/01/21 3:09:16 AM #4: | After reading Hero? I Quit that a Long Time Ago, I'm kinda back into the cloak/cape camp, although mostly because Zero uses his aura to create the disguise which is a fucking cool way of doing it. (Although he *had* a physical cloak prior to realizing it was easier to just manifest his aura.) If I was going to use a disguise, I'd want it to be something I could manifest quickly, instead of having to do a quick costume change. And cloaks are generally effective in terms of disguise because they obfuscate your size, posture, etc. And if it was a manifestation, the practical flaws wouldn't be issues (ie, getting tangled or stuck) The Wave Master posted... Bonus Question: What would your arch hero or arch enemy's costume look like as well? Something that strongly contrasts my disguise, because that's how you do it right. For example, if I was going for a dark armored look, my nemesis would need would need white armor. If my look accentuated size, theirs would need a more slender design. Then on a concept level, their weapons/abilities would either have to be similar to mine with some contrast (ie, if we both used "magic," we'd use different styles -- water vs fire, light vs darkness, etc) or a more complementary contrast (ie, if I went with magic, they could be a swordsman or archer since it'd be in keeping with a more medieval theme... or it'd be magic vs science or something) --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
