AxemRedRanger 12/28/20 5:38:13 PM #101:	What Super Mario Bros. 1 did was use scrolling to combine a large, somewhat exploreable game world with action game elements and essentially created the template for console action games. The likes of Balloon Trip scrolling before that point were nice but weren't even really playing in the same ballpark.
