They show up the most in Kingdom's Edge, which I guess you could technically avoid, but they're definitely in other places. It's entirely possible to avoid the Primal Aspids on the way to beating the Hollow Knight. They only show up in the wild in Kingdom's Edge, and even if you enter there you could miss them entirely if you take the first exit back to City of Tears/RW/AB. One of the many many things that impressed me with the game is how I thought I'd been pretty thorough wandering around the world, but I later discovered multiple full regions I'd never even visited until after beating HK. MZero posted... Speaking of which, I stumbled into the place the grubs stay for the first time since rescuing one and got absolutely showered with geo and goodies. Then I beat the Warrior's Trial. Current percentage is 62% Lol I did the same thing, I'd completely forgotten about that place and just wandered in wondering what the heck was going on. I wish we could get a sense of what exactly you have/haven't done so far, the game is so open that there's early bosses you could've missed entirely or lategame stuff you've already done! --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado.
