A film or a play is almost never ever a fully accurate representation of non fictional events even when they aim for absolute accuracy. It's just a reality of the medium.

This is a weird grey area, because it could or could not matter for a long list of reasons and many of those may just be based in preference. Honestly, I wouldn't watch this anyways, because the subject matter doesn't interest me so I don't really care what people think of this.

Seriously, if you want the most accurate film/tv portrayal and appearance of the actors is a part of that then I could see this not being for you. If you're open to watching a bit of a reinterpretation of historical events and/or people then maybe you'll like this. Can't both positions be acceptable as long as people are just respectful to each other about it?

Though yeah the precedent that is the internet says we should all virtue signal and be outraged over this move.
