Doing some googling, some people are saying that the auto-aim doesn't really work at all for the railgun in particular, and having the extra precision of mouse aiming is pretty much essential, but that was also on the Steam forums where people seemed to be taking the whole "PC Master Race, M+KB>Everything!" thing a little too seriously and I'm therefore inclined to take that with a grain of salt. As Link said, it's a question of whether the benefits of M+KB over using a controller outweigh the portability the Switch offers.
