| andylt 10/27/20 3:09:25 PM #92: | IMO, Episodes 7 and 8 are very competently made movies (haven't seen 9) that are also incredibly bland, disjointed soulless blockbusters with precisely nothing interesting to say. The prequels actually have a throughline and an interesting story to tell, but they tell it poorly and are badly made movies in pretty much every respect. I can understand preferring either set based on what you place more weight on, though having a burning passionate love for either trilogy is something I can't get my head around. I especially don't understand the massive amounts of love and hate people have for The Last Jedi, which seemed to be a perfectly mediocre blockbuster to me. I've never been a big Star Wars guy though so I'm in no place to judge, just putting KOTOR on the big screen would be a big improvement over PT+Disney as far as I'm concerned. --- Congrats to azuarc, Guru Champion 2020! ...
