Force Awakens is good fun - and better than any PT movie, including RotS - and TLJ is made with a level of quality so far ahead of the PT. The only time they don't do that is during heavily CGI scenes or the lightsaber duels (which can all feature a ton of CGI). It's so terrible and dull to look at it. Even though the actual execution is terrible, the movies were made with enough sincerity that they're kind of OK in a so-bad-it's-good way.
