its the collective voice that matters, and the more people that use that voice the better the actual representation
Yeah but the collective voice is stupid as hell because the average human being is a dumb fuck.

Except it's not the collective voice that matters, we are not a republic, we are controlled by the rich and wealthy and always have been. Anything else is just an illusion we have been fed. Other then FDR the majority has basically been ignored and abused throughout American history, certainly within my lifetime they have.

IF you don't have any control over who runs the government, who the options are for you to vote on, then you have no voice. We don't get to vote in school teachers, firemen, people who actually put society first before profit. Only the rich and wealthy are options, and they take care of their own.

I would say there are certainly some dictators that would run a better, more fair, government than we do, because in that case it's up to the morals and beliefs of one person, and there is more of a limit on greed. Here you have thousands and thousands of greedy people willing to take from the masses, with the power to do so.

Voting should be from grass roots up at this point with presidential candidates being grown in each state, and possibly starting in each country of the state, have online digital elections to determine each tier of candidate until you come down to only 2 choices for the entire nation and the popular vote wins it period.

THAT would still not neccesarily be a democracy (still could be a republic) but at least we would choose our own representatives. People would feel like their choices matter, because they would. People who are actually good/caring and in tune with average american lives would end up running things.

We live in a time, and a country, where everyone could live like kings or at least REALLY REALLY well. There is little need for manual labor if time/energy is used to automate most things. Citizens would either not need to work, or work less than 30 hours a week (generally because they want to, and for extra money for pleasure/travel etc). If the wealth of the top 2% were spread across the rest of the nation I believe the numbers state every single american would be getting over 100k a year without working an hour (just based on interest etc).

We have not had an administration that built/focused on our infrastructure in my lifetime, that is freaking crazy. We have not seen great improvements in the low/middle classes standard of living either, even while technology has advanced insanely fast. People are more likely to die today then 20 years ago because of medical issues, not because medicine hasn't improved, but because we have less facilities/staff per citizen than we used to (many hospitals have closed, instead of having more of them to deal with larger populations). Education has more than quadrupled in cost not just within my lifetime, but since I graduated from freaking highschool lol. Meanwhile that education means far less as well, making tons of people end up in serious debt.

We need a great president and administration. We need something that will inspire Americans and make everyone feel good about their country and their future. We don't have one, and we won't have one in the near future. With the negatives going on in the world right now, we have never needed one as badly as we do. I feel so sorry for the young who look forward to a future with global warming, pandemics, housing crisis, job instability and a ton of other problems. At least when I was a kid we just worried about being nuked and instantly killed, which at this point sometimes seems like the good old days sadly.
