I've seen people mention it here and elsewhere, and from what I understand, I have to buy something from the house contractor, but I searched the entire list of purchases and didn't see the rod anywhere. It's obvious there must be ways to get diamonds or titan's blood, but I've been steadfastly refusing to spend mine from the boss kills until I know I can get more.
