Kinda doubt that he's actually been on Tinder.

Sounds more like Bumble than Tinder. iirc, most people on Tinder don't even list their careers. idk, the few times I tried Tinder the women in my surrounding area weren't particularly hot (even compared to women I'd see around town, etc) and most didn't seem particularly accomplished. The few really hot ones looked like obviously fake profiles and, when I swiped on them, they didn't seem like native speakers. I wasn't really impressed by the service, but I set my radius relatively close. The results would probably be more promising if I lived in a bigger metro.

Bumble was better, but Bumble barely returned any results for my area and it has a thing where a woman has to respond within 24 hours (which, in theory, is probably designed to pressure women into reaching out because it's time sensitive, but realistically they don't always see the notifications; I once matched with a woman three times before she finally reached out).

Honestly, irl beats these dating apps most of the time. The only thing apps are really good for is some advance screening. However, I realize people nowadays don't seem to know how to fucking talk to each other any more.
