At this point, I can't imagine I'll ever play a mainline FF again (well, probably excluding FF9 and earlier), although the trailers for one of the new ones make it look really cool. I've kinda got too used to things like fully open-world RPGs with separate quest chains and diminished emphasis on a main campaign. Partly because it's easier to come back to them after not playing for a while without having to really figure out where you left off.

In general, I used to view a game's learning curve as some cool thing to master, but now it mostly feels like an impediment to actually playing.

Three months ago I went from having two cats, Beerus and Batman, to now having two cats, a dog, a fish, and as of last night, a bunny. The bunny's name is Oreo Mcflurry Lemon, and he's super soft. Life us strange sometimes.

Considering that Beerus is based on Anubis, a jackal-headed creature, kinda seems a name more suited for a dog (then again, by that token, I guess your other cat should be named Batcat)
