Started to watch the Great Pretender because NF kept trying to shove it down my throat... and immediately annoyed that the dub is heavily subbed. I *think* it's deliberate for effect, although I notice the other language versions sound like they're in the proper language.

idk, it's probably going to suck, but it'll be background noise.

EDIT: Halfway through the episode there's a notice saying that everything will be translated going forward. tbh, if it was going to be less than 75% English the whole time, I probably would have called it quits because I didn't feel like investing that much attention to this show. Thankfully they also toned down the ridiculous accents at the same time.
