Black Clover is another fantasy shonen anime similar to those two shows that has really good world-building and a lot of creative magic battles. It's pretty long though (130+ episodes and still airing) and it kind of starts slow for the first 15 episodes or so, but it gets really good later on. Since you mentioned liking sci-fi series, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star are both classic sci-fi adventure anime with really interesting characters and a great story as well. They're much shorter series too, both only 26 episodes each plus Bebop having an additional movie on the side. The last recommendation I'll drop for now is Symphogear, which is a sci-fi action show with a wild story and five seasons (65 episodes total) of awesome action scenes that almost make it feel like an over-the-top 80's action movie.
