You can make a free-with-ads account for Funimation if you're in a region where they operate, but your selection will be limited. - For currently airing simulcasts (for example, Deca-Dence) generally they can all be watched with a free account a week after the episode goes up for premium members, similar to how Crunchyroll handles their simulcasts. - For older shows that have already completed, they're generally all available subbed for free accounts.
