I know that the CFVG franchise apparently did a "reboot" at one point, which implies two different continuities. If I'm understanding this episode of Vanguard IF right... did Eru's "third set of memories" line imply that both of those timelines and the Vanguard If timeline are all canon and actually happened? Maybe whatever is causing the distortions in Vanguard IF also had a hand in the timeline being split between the original and reboot series? As someone from outside the franchise who just wanted to watch some fun magical girl card game shenanigans in this spin-off, I'm really confused, but still really intrigued by where this series could be going.
