Calling the police could be considered an act of violence.

Floyd didn't deserve to die, but he'd be rotting in jail today if he hadn't.

He was high on Fentanyl and Coke...while using fake money...while in the driver seat of the car he was driving around...while on probation from prison from holding a pregnant woman at gunpoint and had a history of having illegal firearms.

If he resists arrest, "violence" is the course of action police are entitled too.

You can never predict how the cops will act in todays society.

Actually, you can, thanks to statistics.

Barely over a handful of unarmed black men were killed by police officers in 2019. 7, I believe. Out of this handful, most were doing something unlawful in a tense situation.

You have damn near better odds of getting struck by lightning than being killed by a cop if you aren't breaking a crime and aren't armed.

Until there is meaningful reform in the nation, getting the cops involved should be avoided at all costs

Funny, they interviewed a bunch of older black people in Harlem and they overwhelming disagree with you.

I guess that must be some of that ignorant "I live in a nice neighborhood and don't know how bad shit is in the bad parts of town" priviledge.
