It's way too rash to say that gaming is the red thread. Many (if not most) of these cases started because there was physical interaction, which sets single-player gaming communities apart since there are way less events held for them. If/when offline events are being held again, the committee and the community at large should do better to promote awareness against predatory sexual behaviors, especially to younger gamers. --- Into the woods, but mind the past...
