this is wrong btw. they have the same average levels

but i still distinctly remember thinking that the "correct" order was koga then sabrina when i was younger for the other reasons i listed above. up until that point, it's very likely that you sweep gyms by taking advantage of type weaknesses. the only pokemon you can do that for with sabrina is venomoth and Alakazam is like one of the best Pokemon in Gen 1 (Sabrina's also has Reflect covering its exploitable weakness of shit Def). either i thought of Psychic types as too strong to fight them first (poison types are not good) or I tried Sabrina first and failed.

but i think it's mostly because of the menu thing
