From what I've gathered in this topic is that Anericans made the film in our image of Eurovision and Europeans in general, but missed the mark or something?The character driven parts of the plot jump from thing to thing and doesnt make sense a lot of the time. The portrayal of different European nationalities feels really forced and dated. The parts about Eurovision itself are accurate (they only focus on the crazy and cheesy parts though) but why do the hosts speak broken Eastern/Southern European English if this edition of the Contest is held in the UK? And about 5 countries got a fictional entry in this movie. Two of those are Greece and Sweden, who both are known for having a certain style in Eurovision. Neither entry sounded like something Greece or Sweden would send.
