Started watching K-On. Not really enjoying it so far, although the animation is good and I expect that things will pick up eventually.

Been binging '80s cartoons instead (e.g. Dungeons & Dragons and M.A.S.K.). Granted, most of those come from Japanese studios, so they indirectly qualify, but ... not quite anime, I suppose.

Where does Transformers fit? It's a cartoon based on Japanese toys that an American company turned into a best-selling toyline (which its Japanese creator then used to sell those same toys)
