I don't feel old though. GameFAQs is my only gaming community, and I'm probably in the younger half of users. What does sometimes boggle my mind is that, like 12 years ago, almost everyone on this site was a teenager (like I was), but now we're mostly in our late 20s or 30s.

There are still teens on this site. And you're very likely underestimating the site's average age 12 years ago.

I remember when a friend of mine was weirded out by the fact that people born after 1990 could drive, and now I'm living in a world where people who weren't even born during 9/11 are almost legally allowed to drink.

Every decade I have that moment. It's also weird giving those drivers directions and realizing that you're referencing things that haven't been around since before they were born despite it being something people who were around at the time would still know today. And then having a friend point that fact out and justifying myself by mentioning, "Well, it wasn't that long ago!" And, honestly, nothing feels that long ago.

25 years old? Yeah might as well retire at this point your life is over it's all downhill from here.

tbh, the human body peaks around 25 years of age. Of course, a person's career peaks much later. The prime earning years are something like 45 and onward.
