I guess my concern is more that I don't think protests, violent or not, are really capable of affecting change in a vacuum. I know people understand that, but once you start to think about the other moving parts it just gets really hard to say what works imo Like violence is never going to help you generate public support, I do believe that. But social change isn't just about popular support, that's just one element of it --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ...
