| AxemRedRanger 05/23/20 11:32:56 AM #58: | Ocarina of Time brought a focus on the story, presentation, world, and characters to a level that wasnt really there for the early 2-D Zeldas (Link to the Past and links awakening were obviously a step up though) and creates extensive material for discussion and fan-works after you run out of gameplay stuff to talk about. I love Link to the Past dungeons as much as the next guy but there's only so much you can talk about Turtle Rock or the Tower of Hera before moving on. Mario platformers never had much of a story worth caring about. Metroid Prime mostly sticks to datalogs with a few important points in Prime 2 and 3 where NPCs talk to you for awhile. And of course Metroids main attempt to center the game around its story in a big-ish budget way made an utter hash of things. --- [NO BARKLEY NO PEACE] [NO Advokaiser NO PEACE] ...
