Topic	man these live action disney remakes are pretty fucking bad, aren't they?

Wholeheartedly agree about Jafar. Guy was over-serious in the role. No levity. 100% brooding anger, which doesn't fit the character at all. But I tried to go into this movie as open-minded as I could with regards to Will Smith, because he had such enormous shoes to fill. Figured he'd miss the mark completely, or try too hard to mimic Williams portrayal and fail miserably. But I was pleasantly surprised. I feel he paid tribute to Robin's performance, but made the genie his own, Definitely had that "Will Smith vibe". I'm not going to knock him for not being better than Robin Williams, because it's such a big ask in the first place, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who could meet that lofty goal.
