I haven't lifted heavy in nearly two years, instead opting for body weight resistance like pull-ups/push-ups and cardio. I've probably lost a quarter of my strength when I weighed about 215 back then, but I'm 30 pounds lighter and so much healthier. i'm doing pushups occasionally now, but i'm way lazier doing like a set of 30 pushups (and not getting a very good workout) than i am doing like 5 heavy bench presses... --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
