Since Kinzo has been saying stuff about how he was now alive she thought the hometown thing was referring to Rokkenjima, as this is his childhood, due to now being truly alive. She also thought the river could refer to the cave bisecting the cave, and sweetfish could refer to the torpedoes they had mentioned earlier in the flashback. All pretty creative stuff, imo, although I know its not true. I still gave her credit for good thinking. Theres talk about the Italians not being happy about unloading their gold.
