Watched Hail, Caesar tonight, which is probably my new favorite Coen Brothers film (beating out Lebowski which beat out Fargo). While there was a lot to love (including Hobie & Laurentz trying to shoot a scene, which we see afterward scaled Hobie's response down to "It's... complicated), my immediate attention was on Josh Brolin simply because I finished Avengers IW and EG recently (and yes, the movie also features ScarJo who played Black Widow but ScarJo is in so many films).

When Brolin was cast as Thanos, my first thought was that he's a bigger name star that tends to be associated with classier films. However, as I was watching this and barely recognizing the guy, I struggled to think what he's actually done that I've seen. Going through the list of films, I was surprised to see he was actually in films I greatly enjoyed (like Mimic).

At any rate, I finally just skipped 7-7 in SMB3 because the timing was too tough and I didn't want to restart things. I guess I could have just used the 3DS's save state for infinite lives to keep redoing it until I got it right... but meh, hindsight. After finishing w7, I got to replay 8-1 (the tank level) which was one of my favorites. Of course, trying to 100% the game meant that I played a lot of stages I usually skipped and realized how cool many of them are.
