In terms of raw vote totals, we're almost 300 votes behind the first day of matches from the 2018 contest. We currently have 1693 raw votes from the first hour of voting in this contest. Based on the distribution of votes from the previous contest with an 8:00 PM start time, this puts us on track to finish with about 14500 raw votes for the first day of matches in this contest. Though it should be noted that the first day or two can sometimes get lower vote totals before picking up later in the round. The first 2 days of the 2018 contest had notably lower vote totals than the rest of round 1. At the end of the first hour, we currently have 66.27% of the total votes coming from registered users. This is very similar to the percentage of registered user votes we had at the end of the first hour on Day 1 of the 2018 contest (65.86% registered user votes).
