testing is 100% the solution to this.

once everyone else catches up, certain republicans won't be able to deny the problem because their constituents will give a fuck. at that point government will take it more seriously. they'll only care when it's in their backyard and most of 'em haven't felt it yet. but they absolutely will if they keep this up.
Testing a ton leads to Germany and South Korea situations where you have a ton of cases and very low CFR. Because you are testing and catching the asymptomatic cases. Countries with high CFR are likely just testing those with severe symptoms. Italy for example. The one minister today estimated Italy's actual cases are likely almost 700k.

When you see countries with low CFR and wonder what their secret is, it is two fold.

1. Average age of infected.
2. Testing and catching asymptomatics.

Also, while we are here. The reason today for Spain's huge spike is likely due to this.
