Well you guys seem to have far more faith in humanity, especially Americans, than I do. With people still going to Spring Break parties and hanging out in groups like everything is normal this thing is going to drag on much longer than it had to.

I prefer to prepare for the worst and hope for the best, but you can wish in one hand and shit in the other, I'm pretty sure we know which one will fill up first.

While some people aren't taking it seriously, look at what other nations have done -- when shit doesn't work, they impose martial law and mandatory quarantines. Even with a Republican in the White House, we're bound to have the same happen eventually should things keep up. I expect that a month might be overly optimistic for getting it under control, but even the more dire credible models aren't suggesting that we'll be quarantined 1.5 years out. If we're a year out, we're more than likely to have the damn thing cured or it would have run through the whole population.
