I believe it was 3.5 originally, but it's kinda gone the MMO way, so it's not based on any strictly anymore, it's meta DND lol. You do have the normal classes/races but there are enhancements and epic levels and tons of other stuff, but unlike most MMO's you actually freely move and attack, you dodge real traps, fire arrows at enemies etc. It's why I love it so much, combat is real time and not just use an ability over and over again etc. You run up tomonsters and swing your sword, and can hit a group with aoe attacks, dodge back and avoid being hit, jump up on something so they enemy can't reach you and shoot them etc. It's a GREAT MMO, and still has not been beat by any in my opinion, although I am hoping PSO 2 will chance that.
