I guess Rita is one of the characters you were saying was combined into another Yeah, Rita got turned into Nadine, because they had similar interactions with Larry, and combining the two meant they could save an actress and make things slightly less confusing for the viewer. There's already like a hundred significant characters in the show as-is. Besides, There's a few other characters combined like that (one of the spies they send to Vegas is one, if I remember correctly). The Kid is one of the ones who's dropped entirely, if I remember correctly.
