We're playing as Kiryu, a yakuza member. It's interesting that they use semi-stills for non-fully animated cutscenes. Interesting trick for sure. Oh now it's the opening proper. Night clubs, shady karaoke bars, some ladies in impossibly short dresses, and Kiryu walking in his lonesome with blood on his mug. Phone boxes and pagers, oh my.
