Quick question: How does the 2 per game rule work for remakes? Can I nominate 2 songs from a game and 2 more songs from a remake of the same game, if the music is different?

Specifically the case I have in mind is Ao no Kiseki/Ao no Kiseki Evolution.

Just seeing this now. I don't know how to create a consistent rule that addresses this without seeming arbitrary. The Evo games don't really strike me as remakes so much as just...upgrades, if that makes sense? I mean, in Ao's case, the release dates are only 3 years apart. I dunno, that feels like wanting to nominate something that was released cross-platform as the Xbox and PS versions. But I also know that the Evo games have completely overhauled music, so in that regard at least, the game is definitely remake-ish.

This isn't really a position so much as just me sounding out the argument, but maybe it gives you some sense of the answer for yourself.
