All told, student debt in the U.S. now totals more than $1.5 trillion.Aug 27, 2019 While not a majority, realize that it's well over 10% AND they have relatives etc. It would probably be a much higher number if done by family instead of by individual. 31 million people have been arrested on drug related charges, approximately 1 in 10 Americans. 10% of our population...1 in 10...have been LOCKED UP because of drugs...again, not factoring in familes etc who obviously would want them freed etc. I won't touch health care since it literally killed my wife....but yeah.
